Following the 2021 military coup, CHRO expanded its work to support civilian protection and rights-based humanitarian response. We prioritize life-saving assistance, protection from violence, and community resilience in conflict-affected and displaced Chin communities.

CHRO engages governments, regional actors, faith leaders, and international institutions to advance accountability for Myanmar’s military crimes. From the United Nations to regional courts, we work to ensure voices from the ground inform global action.

We work in solidarity with local communities, civil society organizations, legal experts, and international partners to strengthen protection, accountability, and long-term justice for the Chin people and other affected communities in Myanmar.
